I'm Matilda, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I absolutely love celebrating life's most meaningful moments. Whether it's a wedding, a naming ceremony, a vow renewal, or another special occasion, nothing brings me more joy than helping people create memories they'll treasure forever.

My background is in hospitality and events, a career that took me around the world and gave me the privilege of working with some incredible people. Throughout those years, I learnt that the most memorable events aren't just about beautiful venues or perfect planning. They're about people, connection, and the stories that bring us together.

​

Following the pandemic, my husband and I made the decision to return home and settle in beautiful Cambridgeshire. While life abroad was full of adventure, we found ourselves missing friends, family, and all those important milestones that make life so special. We wanted to put down roots, be closer to our loved ones, and spend more time celebrating life's big moments with the people who matter most.

For anyone who knows me, becoming a celebrant was a natural next step, although I only wish I'd done it sooner! I've always loved bringing people together, planning special occasions, and creating experiences that leave lasting memories. And after attending several celebrant-led weddings, and even delivering readings at a few, I had one of those lightbulb moments. Watching couples tell their stories in such personal, heartfelt and meaningful ways made me realise that this was exactly what I was meant to do.

I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, one of the UK's leading providers of celebrant training, and I'm proud to create ceremonies that are completely tailored to the people at the heart of them. No two stories are the same, and no two ceremonies should be either.

​

Whether you're celebrating love, welcoming a new life, or marking a significant chapter in your journey, I would be honoured to help tell your story. My aim is to create a ceremony that feels authentic, personal, and truly unforgettable.
